To a wary traveler, this was the perfect stop. It's not a luxury hotel. It's a place you stop in as you roll through town late. If you can look past the physical location, the Harbor Town Inn is doing everything right. You can immediately tell the place has been recently remodeled. The lower floor is fantastic. The rooms are fairly modern and met my needs. The front desk staff is textbook training material; they were amazing. They helped with every question and need that included a late clogged bathroom. They were kind behind what any reasonable human would expect. I'll also note that the standard bedbug check was negative and the beds were gorgeous. No tears, weird stains, or any other signs of age. One of the cleanest checks I've had this year. I doubt I'm ever in this town again, but they have my next stay guaranteed.

Yery nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Adult beverages are available. Breakfast was included, order the night before!. Plus there was cereal, bread, bagels, muffins, bananas and apples. Coffee. Even a game room.

Great experience. Beds, really comfortable, lots of pillows, good AC. The staff is very nice and helpful. They changed my room easily when I didn’t want to hear minor construction going on that day only. I bicycled here from the SS Badger. It took 17 min. No bicycle parking though. It feels like they are putting in effort to make the place very nice. There are a few cosmetic things in the room, but it really has everything you need. Nice water pressure.

We stayed there 7/23/2025. We loved it. It's all remodeled and super cute! The lady at the check in was super nice. Our room was fantastic. Clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy. And we had continental breakfast like never before. When checking in, they hand you a menu with breakfast items on it. You get to pick out what you want in the morning. When you come down for breakfast, you give the attendant your room number, and they personally serve you what you picked out. They cook it fresh. We had cheese/bacon omelets, hash browns, waffles - it was really cool! Awesome service! We would stay there again for sure.

Stayed in this hotel for a quick overnight work trip. Was very pleasantly surprised. Obviously this was an older hotel that's been renovated, probably many times. The staff was very sweet, the rooms were clean, and the bedding was very soft, probably one of the better sets. Pillows were too firm imo. They also will take your breakfast order the night before (included, but not a continental) and have it ready for you in the morning. Great spot for the price.

Found this on a travel website and was surprised at the high evaluations for the hotel. Booked 2 rooms for a road trip based on that, and was not disappointed. Yes, the building is showing it's age, however the owners are obviously taking steps to overhaul it and make it nice, and that is definitely evident. We had a small snafu when checking in, but that was entirely our fault and the desk clerk was super helpful and accommodating. Ended up with what I think was a better room anyway for our traveling companions. The made-for-you breakfast was a neat feature, and they even called your room to let you know it was ready. Would recommend this place without reservation as it is clean, friendly staff, and a great price.

This hotel is a hidden gem. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. It’s also a very short drive to Lake Michigan shoreline. My check in was quick and the front desk employees were really nice. The room was pleasantly clean including the linens. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. I really liked that you can place your order the evening before including what time you wanted to eat. They have a nice patio area where you can eat if you are traveling with a dog. There is handicap parking close to the front lobby. There isn’t an elevator at this property so if climbing stairs is a problem, be sure to request a first floor room in your reservation. If I am ever back in the area I would stay here again.

Been here before, an always a great place to stay. There is a restaurant next door. Inn is now serving personnel breakfast for your own order.

So pleased with our stay! The beds were heavenly; like sleeping on a cloud. Dying to know the brand😂 The sheets were so soft-I can’t even begin to describe how comfortable! The hotel offers free made to order breakfast, and the hostess was quite pleasant and friendly-she constantly has a sincere smile on her face our entire stay. The rooms were clean and kept up nicely! Budget prices with 5 star quality. We will definitely be back for our next stay in Manitowoc!

Decided on a whim to drive 6 hours to see a Green Bay Packers game. We booked this room essentially because it was the only decently price place near the area, about 40 minutes from the stadium. I couldn't have asked for a better place to go. Easy to find, easy to check in, super friendly guy at the front desk. Made to order breakfast was yummy, hot and easy to fetch even though the place was pretty booked. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We spent less than 12 hours there all together but it was one of the highlights of our trip. I'm coming back if we ever decide to do it again!
